The “Basic Instinct” star Sharon Stone has been suffering from Type I diabetes for years. To prevent the disease from causing irreparable harm to her health, the actress gave up bad habits - she does not drink or smoke. She also follows a diet, limiting her nutrition to healthy foods, and even those she consumes in minimal doses. Additionally, to battle diabetes, the actress does sports on a regular basis. After having suffered two strokes (Stone had a cerebral aneurysm) and because of asthma, which the actress also suffers from, she chooses gentle exercises - mainly pilates and stretching.
